The much-anticipated Zuoz Cricket Tournament returned with full force on the 24th and 25th of May 2025, once again hosted in the picturesque Swiss canton of Graubünden. Nestled in the valley surrounded by majestic alpine peaks, the cricket ground at Zuoz remains a dream venue for players and parents alike—one that’s eagerly awaited each year.

This year’s edition was not just scenic, but also sensational in performance, sportsmanship, and spirit. With sunny skies and cool breezes, the weather played its part perfectly, making it an unforgettable weekend for everyone involved.

What made this year extra special? A clean sweep across all age groups—U9s, U11s, U13s, and U15s—with standout contributions from our girl players as well. But more than the victories, it was the team unity and individual brilliance that truly defined Zuoz 2025.

The Basel Dragons team, playing with poise and power, delivered one of their most cohesive and mature performances to date. Every player had moments of brilliance that reflected the hours of practice and passion put into the game over the past year.

Beyond individual performances, one of the proudest aspects of this tournament was how well the team gelled with the guest players—showcasing inclusiveness, communication, and camaraderie on and off the field. The spirit of playing as one team was truly on display.

Though a few of our Dragons were missed this year, the strength and unity of those present made Zuoz 2025 a powerful chapter.
